Inside Our Autistic Minds – MURRAY
Visualising how autistic people experience the world for this powerful series.
In this brilliant and deeply moving series, Chris Packham gives four autistic people- Murray, Anton, Flo and Ethan, who are at a key point in their lives, the chance to bring their experiences to life. By immersing himself in their everyday experiences, he learns and observes the unique way they sense and interact with the world.

ANTON
Anton is a young man from Billingham who is hugely reliant on his routine and when things change unexpectedly, it can dramatically impact his life.
Anton’s uses his film to tell his family, friends and his five-a-side football why unexpected changes to his routine really matter to him.

MURRAY
Murray does not speak, and never has, but he has a lot to say.
Murray uses his film to ask people for more tolerance and a better awareness of the world he lives in.

ETHAN
Ethan has a hypersensitivity to noise and uses earphones and music to cope with the loud and unpredictable sounds of college.
Ethan uses his film to share his rap about what his day looks like, so people can understand what the world feels like to him.

FLO
Flo often has to ‘mask’ or camouflage her true behaviour in an effort to ‘fit in’ with society.
Flo uses her film to shine a light on masking in a letter to her mum about her childhood and why she felt like she couldn’t just be herself.
