Earthshot Prize
In 2021 Hello Charlie in conjunction with the BBC, helped to launch the inaugural Earthshot prize.
The show was a fully sustainable live broadcast production, one of the first of its kind. We helped to develop the on air brand, alongside screens content and live performance creatives.
As part of the 2023 show we were asked to help develop a specially shot sequence around the Earthshot founder, The Prince Of Wales. Using a virtual production facility called the Mars Volume we designed a narrative and content that transported the Prince from the moon to the surface of the earth as he set out the unique goals of the project.
The Earthshot set design featured a large clamshell LED configuration enabling a level of visual immersion for the presenters and performers. Our goal was to create a seamless backdrop for each nomination presentation that would echo the natural world at the core of the initiative.
Alongside the main show and nomination content we worked closely with the production team to develop live performance creatives for a number of artists from Ed Sheeran through to Annie Lennox
