The Joy Awards 2026

The Joy Awards hosted the 6th edition of their ceremony on Saturday, 17 January 2026. The event celebrates Arab and International talent across the whole entertainment industry. Partnering with Done + Dusted, Hello Charlie delivered a suite of assets including broadcast graphics, immersive bespoke screen content for their Lavender carpet, a show stopping 42M+ pixel tunnel and extensive external branding throughout Riyadh.

TITLE SEQUENCE AND BROADCAST GRAPHICS

Each year, the Joy Awards set design pushes creative and technical boundaries to deliver a truly spectacular visual experience. Our broadcast graphics extend that same world beyond the stage, translating it for the arena screens and audiences watching at home with a sleek, high-gloss, luxurious graphics package, built around the iconic Golden Falcon from the trophy.

During and 72 hours after the event #JoyAwards generated over 26.1BN global impressions online and on social media.

LAVENDER CARPET

The red carpet steps aside for the Lavender Carpet at the Joy Awards.  Our brief was to create a show-stopping immersive tunnel spanning 20+ metres across a 42M+ pixel LED installation. We combined real-time and simulation workflows – Unreal Engine, Embergen, X-Particles, Redshift, and more – to deliver a bold, polished, unforgettable experience.

IN MEMORIAM

For In Memoriam piece we built a star-filled environment with subtle rings of stars to extend and support the on-stage orrery set piece. We also created 3D constellations that formed into portraits of the deceased, translating the memorial photography into a clear visual moment on screen.

WRAP AROUND VISUALS

As well as creating screen visuals for a huge forced perspective cube and a 114 feet high LED-clad orb, we delivered a full-venue projection takeover, mapping content across all four sides of the building to turn the architecture into a continuous, 360° canvas. Using a 142-projector system, we blended multiple projection zones into a single coherent image, accounting for corners, depth changes, and surface variation, so the visuals read cleanly from every key audience viewpoint.

BESPOKE PERFORMANCE VISUALS

The evening concluded with Ya Sham, an artistic finale that revived beloved themes and signature works, striking an immediate chord with the audience and bringing the ceremony to an emotional high point. We designed custom set extensions and seamless transitional moments across all six presentations, elevating Ya Sham through a cohesive staging journey.
