Global Citizen Festival
Since 2021, Hello Charlie has partnered with Global Citizen and Done & Dusted to lead the design and development of all broadcast and live event graphics for their world-renowned festivals. Our work spans multiple locations and events, bringing the Global Citizen vision to life on stage and screen through dynamic, visually impactful design that captures the energy, mission, and scale of each festival.
GLOBAL CITIZEN BRAZIL 2025
We were invited by Done and Dusted to expand on the creative development for the Global Citizen Amazônia event in Belém, Brazil, shaping a broadcast and screens package that felt both distinctive and culturally resonant. A key part of the approach was ensuring the creative acknowledged the event’s setting, drawing on the vibrancy, and richness of the region to create visuals that felt authentic and celebratory.
BROADCAST PACKAGE & SCREEN VISUALS
The broadcast package comprised backgrounds, bugs, bumpers, a countdown clock, fact templates, lower thirds and transitions. We also developed a series of complementary screen looks for the live event, creating a visual system that could work across segments, presenter moments and some musical performances.
The design language blended footage from the Amazon with natural textures and elements, combined with text overlays and graphic transitions. The result was a vibrant package that captured the atmosphere of the event and translated it consistently across both broadcast and live screens.

GLOBAL CITIZEN NYC 2024
The 2024 festival rallied action to End Extreme Poverty NOW, with an exciting lineup featuring Post Malone, Doja Cat, LISA, Jelly Roll, Rauw Alejandro, Benson Boone, and RAYE.
Hosted by Global Citizen Ambassador Hugh Jackman, the event also included special appearances by Dr. Jane Goodall, DBE, founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and UN Messenger of Peace, and festival curator Chris Martin of Coldplay.
GLOBAL CITIZEN NIGHTS: MELBOURNE 2024
Global Citizen Nights, was an evening of music and storytelling, headlined by the iconic Crowded House. This event celebrates young changemakers from across the Asia-Pacific region who are driving impactful initiatives in climate action, gender equity, and more. Hello Charlie designed and made the broadcast and screens content.
GLOBAL CITIZEN 2023
Thanks to Global Citizen 2023, hosted in NYC, $290 million was raised in commitments from world leaders to end extreme poverty.
GLOBAL CITIZEN 2022
In 2022, Global Citizen Festival took place in Black Star Square Accra, Ghana, and on Great Lawn in Central Park in New York City, USA. It urged world leaders, during the United Nations General Assembly and ahead of the G20 and COP27 in November, to take bold action.
